Top 10 Not So Lucky Bollywood STAR KIDS

Monday, June 16, 2014 - By Bollywood Mogambo 0

Being born in a film family can be a boon for a successful career launch. But in film business, every Friday decides your future. With all those hoopla of a Star Kids arrival on the scene, it’s the audience ultimate decision, who will rise to the Galaxy and who will fall to the ashes. Not everyone is as lucky as Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor or the latest kid Tiger Shroff, whose debut HEROPANTI is still minting money. There are those unlucky ones, on whom Lady Luck has not yet shined. Below is the list of few of them …
  1. Suneil Anand - Son of the legendary Dev Anand who launched him in Anand Aur Anand in 1984, Suneil failed to impress the movie goers. Unlike his father who was a heartthrob of the millions, his son was a dud. Despite the movie’s disastrous results, Suneil appeared in a few such flop films which ended his career as an actor. Today, he is involved with the Anand family brainchild, Navketan Films.
  2. Rajiv Kapoor - Raj Kapoor had a fan following across the globe, but Rajeev failed to win fans within the country itself! Son of the  legendary Raj Kapoor, Rajeev’s first movie Ram Teri Ganga Maili (1985) was a hit. But  he made some terrible choices in films which brought his career crashing down.
  3. Mimoh Chakraborty - Mimoh, short for Mahaakshay Chakraborty, is the son of original disco dancer of Bollywood, Mithun Chakraborty. Mimoh’s acting career took a downward spiral after his debut film Jimmy in 2008. The 2013 release Enemmy with father also tanked.
  4. Esha Deol - We doubt if there’s a Bollywood fan who hasn’t been smitten by Hema Malini’s charm and beauty. While she has acted in nearly 150 films in a career spanning over 40 years, her daughter Esha Deol has failed to live up to her legacy. Just look at her career, whose only credit-worthy appearance in Bollywood was in an item number for the blockbuster Dhoom in 2006. After many years of delivering flops, Esha decided to get hooked and is today happily married, far away from the film industry.
  5. Uday Chopra -  While Daddy Yash Chopra has produced some amazing blockbusters like Chandni, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Dil To Pagal Hai, Fanaa, Chak De! India, and so on… Uday Chopra has absolutely nothing to boast about! He made his debut with Mohabbatein. However, it was a multi-starrer with Shahrukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan stealing all the accolades. He went on to act in flops like Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai, Neal 'n' Nikki, Pyaar Impossible. Last we heard is that he is dating the very hot Nargis Fakhri!
  6. Tanisha Mukherji - Tanisha is the daughter of Tanuja Chandra and sister of Kajol—two very good and successful actresses. Unfortunately, Tanisha could not live up to her family’s name, and after being part of a string of flops such as Neal N Nikki and One Two Three, she was recently seen in the Bigg Boss house getting cosy with another dud, Armaan Kohli.
  7. Jackky Bhagnani - Vashu Bhagnani is one of the prominent producers in Bollywood with movies such as Coolie No. 1, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein added to his credit. But for his son, he chose movies like Kal Kissne Dekha and F.A.L.T.U! Even though Jackky won IIFA best debut award for Kal Kissne Dekha, nobody apart from his dad seems to be interested in seeing him as an actor.
  8. Harman Baweja - Harman Baweja made headlines for his similarity between Hrithik Roshan and for being the son of art director Harry Baweja and producer Pammi Baweja, long before his debut movie Love Story 2050 released. But the movie turned out to be a flop. Till date, he has acted in two more movies Victory and What's Your Raashee? Both were major flops.
  9. Adhyayan Suman - Shekhar Suman’s stint in Bollywood cant’ be termed as  “successful”, but Adhyayan Suman’s career is still far from his father’s!  He  was nominated for the Filmfare’s best debutant award for Haal-e-Dil, but failed to deliver any hits. He was more popular for his short-lived romance with Kangna Ranaut.
  10. Sikander Kher - Born to talented actors, Anupam and Kiron Kher, Sikander Kher clearly is not under the same category. He made his debut with Woodstock Villa (2000) and was recently seen in Players (2011).

And the list goes on …. Only if someone somehow convinces these kids, Please take some acting lessons first and then ACT!!!
